I wish I was like you, easily amused

A couple of people have wondered why this has stayed empty for so long. Well, we can blame that on being gainfully employed. I get home and am unable to do anything that takes even minimal brainpower. All I want to do is sit in front of the TV, eat, and have a beer. Just look at my last two entries. If this space becomes nothing more than a home for vapid youtube videos and middle school humor, then its not worth keeping up. I can’t come even close to competing with the likes of TMZ and perezhilton. More importantly, I have absolutely no desire to.

I’ve started a few updates about things that I was actually excited to write about. The only problem was that I’d get half way through, be too tired and go to bed. The next time I sat down to try to complete an entry, my train of thought would be completely gone and I’d get annoyed and go drink a beer. So, I think what I’ll do is just not post anything for a while and try to finish up the pieces I’ve started. I’ll leave the celebrity gossip to other people.

Don’t get me wrong, I love vapid youtube videos and middle school humor, have no problem writing about it occasionally, and will continue to do so once I get back to updating semi-regularly. I just won’t allow this space to become only about those things.
